Welcome to the Centralia, Illinois, Church of the Nazarene website.

Our purpose, or mission as it is often called, is simple:

Evangelizing, educating and encouraging individuals to have a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ!

To achieve that mission, we strive to offer many ministries at the church:

• We offer a full Sunday School curriculum which has classes for all ages from the youngest to the oldest.
  
  
• Sunday morning worship commences weekly at 10:30 AM and it is followed by an evening worship at 6:00 PM.
  
  
• Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM, we gather at the church for a variety of activities. The adults gather for prayer around the altars of the church, the teens and younger children each have a Bible quizzing program in which they participate. This year the teens are studying the book of Luke and the children are studying the book of Exodus.
  
  
• Thursday evenings at 6:30 PM, small group studies take place. This fall the study is over the life of David. The men gather separately from the women, as we have found that it is easier for open sharing of concerns and prayer requests to take place.
  
  
• In addition to our scheduled times of worship and study, we do our best to have frequent times of fellowship. Gathering for meals, taking group trips, hosting special events, and sharing one another's burdens as we can, are all integral in our faith community.
